The 'Nashville' alum has been spotted in public for the first time as she arrives at LAX airport nearly two weeks after her actor brother died from an enlarged heart.

AceShowbiz - Hayden Panettiere has been seen for the first time since her brother Jansen Panettiere's shocking death. The 33-year-old actress was spotted at a Los Angeles airport on Thursday, March 2, marking her first public appearance since the family tragedy.
The former "Heroes" star looked glum as she arrived at LAX with a female friend. She mostly showed a stoic face as she walked through the airport before jetting off to California, according to Daily Mail which obtained the pictures.
Hayden dressed casually in a green jacket over a black shirt, joggers and peach sneakers. She carried a small beige backpack and held a drink in her hand, while having a bottled water squeezed in her armpit.
Hayden's brother and only sibling Jansen was found dead inside his apartment in Nyack last month after he failed to show up for a meeting on Sunday, February 19. On February 27, the family issued a statement revealing his official cause of death. They said, "Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen's sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications."
The family, including Jansen's mother Lesley Vogel, father Skip Panettiere and sister Hayden, remembered him, "Jansen's heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit."
"His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered," they added of the late actor, who starred on "The Walking Dead" among other TV shows.
While Hayden has not spoken personally in public of her brother's death, she was said to be "inconsolable" following the sudden loss of her only sibling and "best friend" Jansen. "Hayden is just inconsolable," a source purportedly close to the actress told Daily Mail days after Jansen's passing was confirmed. "He was her best friend and her only brother. He was such a nice guy but he lived on the edge."
