AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman always has Tom Holland in her mind and that's reflected in her reaction to Rihanna's Super Bowl performance. Tuning into the halftime show on Sunday, February 12, the actress made a reference to her boyfriend as she appeared to be in awe of Rih's performance.
The two-time Emmy Award winner called it back to Tom's "Umbrella" performance on "Lip Sync Battle" in 2017 as she reacted to the halftime show. She took to her Instagram Stories to post a photo of the Barbadian songstress at Super Bowl, followed by a screenshot of her reaction to the British actor's jaw-dropping performance on the Paramount Network series.
On the TV series, Tom nailed a mashup of "Singin' in the Rain" and Rihanna's "Umbrella" as he went up against his "Spider-Man: Homecoming" co-star Zendaya. Floored by the 26-year-old star's performance, Zendaya put her hands on her face in complete shock and amazement.
This was after fans expressed their wish to see Zendaya and Tom joining Rihanna on Super Bowl stage. "We could have it all #FentyBowl #Rihanna," wrote one person alongside a clip from the "Lip Sync Battle" episode featuring the on-screen and off-screen couple.
"Rihanna bring out Tom Holland and zendaya during umbrella challenge," another demanded. A third similarly wanted, "rihanna should bring tom holland out to perform umbrella send tweet mute replies."
A fourth user proposed the idea, "Idk what song Rihanna is gonna start with but she better bring out Tom Holland during Umbrella." Another claimed, "if Rihanna brings Tom Holland on stage to perform umbrella during halftime i swear i'll never complain again."
Someone let their imagination run wild as sharing, "Rihanna is going to open the Super Bowl halftime with Umbrella and Tom Holland does his dance number which leads to Zendaya appearance and then Zendaya starts playing Replay which then leads to Iyaz coming on stage and playing his version of Replay."
