On the track, which arrives days after she announces her debut solo album, the one-half of Chloe x Halle sings about considering revenge on an unfaithful ex.

AceShowbiz - Chloe Bailey has unleashed a new single ahead of the release of her upcoming debut solo album. The one half of Chloe x Halle dropped "Pray It Away" on Friday, January 27 along with its official music video.

The clip opens with Chloe sitting on the floor surrounded by hundreds of candles. It then cuts to a scene where the singer shows off her dancing skills with a group of dancers while singing about thinking of revenge on an unfaithful ex.

"Maybe I should go and take it to church (Uh)/ And wash it away 'cause I want that nigga to hurt/ But I'ma just pray it away before I give him what he deserves first," she chants in the chorus. "Ah (Ah), ah (Ah)/ Take it to church."

Just three days earlier, Chloe announced that she will release her debut solo album, "In Pieces", in March. Making use of her Instagram page, the 24-year-old singer/actress shared a video of herself rocking a sleek red leather gown. In the footage, she was seen holding a human heart on one arm and a sphere on the other.

In the background of the video, Chloe could be heard singing, "Wear my heart on my sleeve/ They all say I'm naive/ But it's better than nothing." In the caption, she declared, "IN PIECES. MY DEBUT ALBUM. MARCH 2023."

When speaking about the album, Chloe told Essence in August 2022, "It's everything that I've been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can't do it." She added, "All of those things have gone into the music."

"The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself," Beyonce Knowles' protege continued. "It's me breaking free."
