A number of rappers have been labeled as 'snitches' for cooperating with police and while some of them manage to brush off the title, others still suffer from it.

AceShowbiz - Alfamega, whose real name is Cedric Zellars, allegedly became an informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration in a heroin case during the 1990s. It was said that the Grand Hustle Records artist has testified against a "heroin trafficker" named Ali Baaqar.

According to court papers obtained by The Smoking Gun, Mega was taken into custody in 1995 for selling guns. After agreeing to cooperate with authorities, he had 18 months shaved off a 110-month prison sentence.
