AceShowbiz - Riley Keough has broken her silence on Lisa Marie Presley's passing. One week after her mom died from cardiac arrest, the "Zola" star paid tribute to her by sharing a throwback picture on social media.
On Friday, January 20, the 33-year-old beauty shared on her Instagram page a black-and-white photo of her when she was younger. In the picture, the actress stared at her smiling mom lovingly as she held a bucket of flowers. She captioned the post with one red heart emoji.
Lisa Marie's death was confirmed by her mother Priscilla Presley on Thursday, January 12, just days after she attended the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. She went into cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas after complaining of severe stomach agony.
Lisa Marie's ex-husband Danny Keough, who was living with her, performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived. She, however, suffered another heart attack when she arrived at the hospital and did not survive.
Lisa Marie was laid to rest next to her son Benjamin Keough on Thursday in the Meditation Garden at Graceland in a private service. Also buried in the garden of the Tennessee estate are her father, music legend Elvis Presley, and his parents Vernon and Gladys.
The private burial took place days before a public memorial service for Lisa Marie. A statement on Graceland's official website read, "A memorial service for Lisa Marie Presley has been arranged for Sunday, January 22 at 9:00 am on the front lawn at Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee.
