AceShowbiz - Rosie O'Donnell couldn't be happier that he son is now engaged. To celebrate the momentum, the comedienne shared on social media some photos of Blake proposing to his girlfriend Teresa Garofalow Westervelt during a Broadway performance of Phantom of the Opera.
In the picture shared on Instagram on Monday, December 19, the 23-year-old could be seen getting down on one knee in a theater aisle. The second image, meanwhile, saw the couple posing for the camera with Hillary Clinton.
In the caption, Rosie gushed, "last night - my son blake asked his gf teresa to marry him - and she said yes !!!" She added, "the crowd clapped - and hillary clinton was there too- i cried all through phantom of the opera - wishing my mom was here to see it all #love #family."
Blake himself also posted some proposal photos on his own Instagram page. He also gave fans a close look at Teresa's new engagement ring.
"I liked it so I (finally) put a ring on it," Blake jokingly captioned the post. "I can't wait to start the next chapter in our lives together, and I'm so grateful to be doing it with my ride or die."
Blake and Teresa have been dating for six and a half years. In March 2021, Blake celebrated their anniversary by sharing a selfie of him and his soon-to-be-wife on Instagram.
"5 years ago I slid into your dm and I'm soooo grateful you didn't ignore me," he wrote at that time. "I am so lucky to have fallen in love with such an amazing person. Happy late anniversary baby girl."
