Amy's '20/20' co-anchor David Muir is 'not having it' while every anchor is reportedly 'upset' that Amy and T.J. have caused such drama at ABC, which has taken the couple of the air.

AceShowbiz - Though it was initially reported that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were supportive of the couple's relationship, the distraction caused by the scandal has apparently caused a strain at ABC. Their co-workers are now reportedly "upset" over the pair's romance and the drama it caused.

Amy's "20/20" co-anchor David Muir, in particular, is reportedly "not having it" and "wants no part" of the drama. "He's not having it. He's the face of the evening news and nothing about him ever makes it into the papers. He's very private and no one at ABC likes the way Amy and T.J. handled it," a source tells Page Six.

In response to a question about David's reaction to Amy and T.J.'s affair scandal, an ABC News spokesperson says that the "World News Tonight with David Muir" anchor "is focused on the work, not any of this."

Another insider tells the outlet that every anchor is upset that Amy and T.J. have caused such drama. "No one wants to be associated with this, and Amy and David already aren't that close right now," the informant claims.

Multiple sources say that people at the network were not happy with how the pair joked about the situation during their "GMA3" segment of "Good Morning America" before they were taken off the air. "If the decision is to not address it, then don't address it! T.J. made light of it on-air. Amy's smarter than that, but how else is she supposed to respond?" one of them says.

"She's a serious hard news journalist, and this is a major distraction," another adds. "Becoming co-anchor of '20/20' was very important to her. She was obsessed with getting that job. This affair is bringing her down and changing her reputation."

ABC itself is apparently taking the issue seriously now, after it was initially reported that the network would not take a disciplinary action against the couple. On Monday, December 12, ABC News president Kim Godwin emailed staffers to share the update regarding Amy and T.J.'s current status on the show amid ongoing internal investigation.

"Amy and T.J. will remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review, and there will be a rotation of anchors at 'GMA3' for the time being," read the email. "I understand that the continuing coverage can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News. It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism."
