AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer's best friend Loni Love was trying her best to keep a secret. In a new interview, the comedian admitted that keeping the "Akeelah and the Bee" actress' pregnancy news a secret was pretty challenging.

"We were DMing each other, because I was trying to keep it a secret," the 51-year-old comedienne told Entertainment Tonight as she walked the carpet at the 45th Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, December 4 in Washington, D.C. Suggesting that it wasn't easy to stay silent with such exciting news, she added, "I was like... 'Okay, Auntie Loni is gonna be quiet!' "

"But I just loved the way that she did it, and we're so happy for her, and she's happy and healthy, and that's what matters," Loni added, "Congratulations, Keke!" As for whether or not she's down to help the babysit in the future, the former "The Real" co-host exclaimed, "Yes, I am!"

Keke confirmed that she and her boyfriend Darius Jackson are expecting their first child together on "Saturday Night Live" by revealing her growing baby bump. "There's some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I wanna set the record straight - I am!" the 29-year-old actress said during her opening monologue.

"I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct. I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, 'cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?" she further raved. "But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I'm going to be a mom."

After making her hosting debut on the NBC sketch show, the "Hustlers" star gushed on Instagram, "I had such an amazing time hosting SNL! Truly such a unique experience, I learned so much. The cast was incredible, I was so happy to be taken into their home for such a short time." She added, "Being around so many others that appreciate and put their all into their craft was especially fulfilling."

Not long after, Keke's boyfriend Darius took to his Instagram Story to tease the baby's due date. The fitness trainer shared a picture of his girlfriend cradling her baby bump. Alongside the sweet snap, the 28-year-old simply penned, "2023," adding a red heart emoji.
