AceShowbiz - Kanye West got into a heated debate during his appearance on Tim Pool's podcast. The "Donda" artist, who is currently on a media tour after announcing his 2024 presidential bid, even stormed out of the interview while discussing his anti-Semitic remarks.
During the interview, Ye compared himself to Martin Luther King. "I thought I was more Malcolm X but I found out I'm more MLK," the rapper, who was joined by far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, said in the Monday, November 28 episode of "Timcast IRL". "As I'm getting hosed down every day by the press and financially, I'm just standing there."
Tim agreed as he said, "They have been extremely unfair." Ye later asked what the host meant by "they," assuming that he could not say it on camera. Nick Fuentes then responded with his anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, though Tim appeared not to buy them. At one point, Ye decided to stand up and leave the set. Nick and Milo followed suit, and the trio didn't return to the podcast.
Prior to leaving, Ye said, "To come in here - I feel like it's a set up to be like defending. I'm literally going to walk the F off the show." He continued, "If I'm sitting up here having to, you know, talk about, 'You can't say it was Jewish people that did it.' "
Elsewhere in the interview, the 45-year-old rapper/designer also opened up about his relationship with Donald Trump. "I would have never wanted to do anything that hurt Trump," the "Gold Digger" spitter shared. "I'm on Trump's side. Trump said things that hurt me. He lied about me, but I mean, he's known for lying."
Ye's comments arrived after the MAGA leader dubbed Ye a "seriously troubled man." The former POTUS wrote on his platform Truth Social, "So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West). Who has been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who has always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed 'advice.' "
"He shows up with 3 people, two of which I didn't know, the other a political person who I haven't seen in years," Trump continued. "I told him don't run for office, a total waste of time, can't win. Fake News went CRAZY!"
In other news related to Ye, the hip-hop star was snapped hanging out with his former wife Kim Kardashian's ex Ray J. The two, who were also joined by Milo, were seen enjoying dinner at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Both Ye and Ray seemingly tried to go incognito during the outing. The Yeezy designer covered his face with a ski mask and baseball hat. Meanwhile, the "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" alum donned a black bucket hat and oversized jacket.
