AceShowbiz - Jennifer Gates is going to be a mom soon. The daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda Gates, who tied the knot with Nayel Nassar in October last year, announced that they're expecting their first child together by showing off her baby bump.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, November 24, the 26-year-old shared a picture of herself cradling her growing belly next to her spouse. In the caption, she simply wrote, "Thankful," adding a green heart and baby bottle emoji.
The post has since been flooded with positive comments from many. One in particular was Jennifer's mom, Melinda, who gushed, "Couldn't be more excited to meet this little one and watch you two become parents." Karlie Kloss sent out a slew of heart eye emojis, while fellow model Martha Hunt added alongside the same emojis, "Congratulations!!!"
Jennifer and Nayel reportedly began dating in 2016. They were said to have bonded over their love for horse riding. Nayel himself is a member of the Egyptian equestrian team that won the Nations Cup competition in October 2019, securing a spot for his country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the first time in 60 years.
They got engaged in January 2020. When announcing the happy news, Jennifer wrote on Instagram, "Nayel Nassar, you are one of a kind. Absolutely swept me off my feet this past weekend, surprising me in the most meaningful location over one of our many shared passions. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together. Yes a million times over. AHHH!!!"
The pair later tied the knot in October 2021 at her horse farm in North Salem, New York, which her parents bought their daughter after she graduated from Stanford University. They reportedly had an intimate Muslim ceremony on before holding a civil service and reception for 300 guests.
