AceShowbiz - Tyrese Gibson divulged that he and his girlfriend have tested positive for COVID-19. However, instead of getting support and well wishes, the "F9" actor received hate from many Internet users for the way he revealed their diagnosis.

Making use of Instagram, the 43-year-old shared a video of him and his on-again girlfriend Zelie Timothy hugging and kissing each other near the window. On the top of the clip, he wrote, "Pray for us: We both tested positive for Covid but trying to stay positive."

Tyrese added in the caption, "This has quickly became the worst week of my life. I just tested positive for Covid, my girl was negative and we were both social distancing [ as much as we could ] and now she's positive and the worst of the worst?" He continued, "I just had to cancel my studio session and video with an icon and legend [Lenny Kravitz] but he showed up and killed anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'm so sorry for everyone I let down," the R&B singer further noted. "I'm sorry to my costars director, producers, the studio and crew I feel horrible we're both trying to stay in the best of spirits but the empath in me can't help but think of others."

The post was then re-shared by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram and many were annoyed by it. One person in particular commented, "boy stop fooling around , y'all acting helpless looking out the window like y'all being held hostage omfg yo."

Another argued, "He starting to get on my nerves now." Someone else opined, "He's such a drama queen ,take your supplements and go." A different user chimed in, "Tyrese is such a actor like we ain't see u peep at the camera [crying laughing emojis] n y u rubbing the window like u miss outside or something."
