The Atlanta hip-hop artist made his return to the comedy stage by performing alongside members of the HaHa Mafia group at Salsa Con Fuego in The Bronx earlier this week.

AceShowbiz - T.I. is back on the comedy stage in New York City months after he got booed at the Barclays Center. While his previous performance failed to amuse people, things are different now as the rapper said he had a "phenomenal time."

The Atlanta native performed alongside members of the HaHa Mafia group at Salsa Con Fuego in The Bronx earlier this week. Following the set, he told AllHipHop, "I've been to New York before and worked out in some rooms, on the low. This is my first official full set (since the Brooklyn incident). I feel like we had a phenomenal time. The crowd enjoyed their self, we enjoyed ourselves."

Comedian Navv Greene chimed in, "We look like the Warriors right now, bruh... Everybody gets their own shot and we ain't in each other's way. We the dark-skinned Warriors." T.I. then added, "We appreciate all of the people that came out."

The said incident occurred during T.I.'s set at the April Fools Comedy Jam. At that time, he made a joke about seducing the mother of one of his opponents during his performance at the festival, which featured other comedians including Nick Cannon, Rip Micheals, HaHa Davis, Eddie Griffin and B. Simone. Unfortunately, the joke didn't sit well with the audience.

"Well god damn," T.I. said after getting booed. "I'm gone tell y'all muthaf**kin' a** like this. You got one more muthaf**kin' album out of me. It's called 'Kill The King' for muthaf**kas like you. And I appreciate y'all because you make me the absolute best n***a. New York has made me the muthaf**kin' best."

Following the show, T.I. went live with Michael Blackson on Instagram to talk about the performance. "Did you enjoy that feeling of being booed? You liked that?" Michael asked the "Dead and Gone" spitter with a face of confusion. In response, the hip-hop star said, "Yes, I loved it! I didn't feel like they were booing me like that. I felt like they were booing me like 'I dare you to be more funny, I dare you to be more funny, I dare you to be better.' "
