AceShowbiz - Jorge Masvidal shared his reaction to a resurfaced video of Joe Rogan having a backstage grappling contest with former heavyweight champion Mark Coleman. Making use of his Facebook account, the Welterweight fighter jokingly trolled the UFC commentator who was seen being shoved to a wall in the clip.
Attaching a link to an article about the video, which was taken back in 2021, Jorge wrote in the caption, "#JoeRogan crosses paths with a disrespected podcast guest and this is what happened backstage!"
In the clip, Mark and Joe could be seen showing off some of their grappling skills. Joe appeared to take advantage of his speed. Even though he's smaller in size, Joe proved that he could handle Mark well.
However, it wasn't for too long. The table turned on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast host when Mark, who was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at UFC 82, gripped his neck and pushed him back. The heavyweight fighter quickly disbalanced Joe. The two ended the friendly grappling session by hugging each and laughing together.
Joe is indeed a skilled MMA artist. However, the podcaster never competed officially in any professional contest. In addition to becoming a 4-time Taekwondo State Champion, he competed in kickboxing. He also holds black belts in Brazilian jiu jitsu, 10th planet jiu jitsu and taekwondo.
Prior to this, Joe gushed over Mark Zuckerberg after the latter shared a video of him on his recent training session with Khai Wu a.k.a. "The Shadow". "One of my training partners, @khaiwu, is making his @ufcfightpass debut tonight. Go get it Khai and looking forward to a great fight!" the Facebook founder wrote in the caption.
Joe caught wind of the post and gave Mark his props. "This is great! I'm so happy to see this," he wrote in the comments section. "Training looks solid too!"
