Drake Gifts Paddy Pimblett Rolex Watch After Winning Huge $1.3M UFC Bet

Last week, the 'Certified Lover Boy' star, who has been partnering with a betting app called Stake, lost $200,000 for betting against UFC fighter Leon Edwards.

AceShowbiz - Drake finally broke the "curse." After losing several UFC bets, the "Honestly, Nevermind" artist finally won a huge $1.3 million for betting on Paddy Pimblett, who's also known as The Baddy. Celebrating his victory, the Canadian rapper gifted the UFC fighter a brand new Rolex watch.

On Tuesday, August 30, Paddy turned to his Instagram account to share a video that saw him unboxing the lavish gift from the "Certified Lover Boy" star, who has been partnering with a betting app called Stake. "A what?" Paddy, who looked confused, asked. "A little something from Drake," someone behind the camera replied.

"Oh, s**t! Oh my... Belter!" a shocked Paddy exclaimed while opening up a green box with the Rolex watch in. Paddy then thanked Drizzy as saying, "Thank you very much. Nice one for that Drake. Thank you very much. He said he'd get us a Rolex and he's got us one."

Paddy previously jokingly warned Drake that he better not back out of his plan. "Hopefully he is coming to Chicago in a few days to meet us there and give us our [he and fellow UFC fighter Molly McCann] watches," he told reporters after his win. "Molly was messaging him after the fight so hopefully he comes to Chicago and we can meet him, that would be sound. He can't back out on it now, can he? He said he was going to get us a watch so he has to get us a watch."

In addition to Paddy, Drake bought a Rolex watch for Molly. He gifted her after she tagged the "One Dance" rapper in a video on her Instagram story requesting the musician buy them both plush Rolex watches after winning the money.

By winning his bet, Drake finally broke the curse which had seen him fail with a series of recent bets. More recently, the "God's Plan" spitter lost $200,000 for betting against the British mixed martial artist Leon Edwards.

Reacting to his loss, Leon mocked Drake for betting against him. "Next time, bet on me and get me one of those Rolexes. Send one my way," the 30-year-old athlete said during his post-fight interview last week.
