In a new episode of the NBC long-running series, two acts are sent to season 17 finale while the remaining 9 that performed in the previous episode are unfortunately eliminated.

AceShowbiz - "America's Got Talent" announced the results of the 4th round of season 17 Qualifiers in the Wednesday, August 31 episode. In the new outing, two acts were named as the next finalists, while the remaining 9 that performed in the previous episode were eliminated.

Following a special opening, host Terry Crews called Merissa Beddows and Bayley Graham to the front of the stage. The host later revealed that Merissa was among the Top 5 of the night, meaning that Bayley was the first contestant to go home.

Acapop! and Metaphysic were the next acts to learn their fates. Acapop! was named to be next contestant in the Top 5. Joining the group was Jack Williams while The Lazy Generation and Harper were eliminated.

The next face-off was between Heidi Klum's Golden Buzzer act Lily Meola and Jannick Holste. Lily proved that she deserved the Golden Buzzer as she edged out Jannick for a spot in the Top 5. Heidi gave Jannick a standing ovation while sending him off.

There's only one spot left in the Top 5 of the night and it was down to Lee Collinson and Mike E. Winfield. Rather unsurprisingly, the last spot went to Mike who got praises from the judges, including Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara.

Now that the Top 5 were revealed, it was time for Terry to narrow it down to Top 3. Merissa and Jack were sadly sent home as Mike, Lily and Metaphysic made it to the Top 3.

Tension, however, only intensified as only two of them would be heading to season 17 Finals. The first act to secure a spot in the Finals was Metaphysic. Simon was beyond happy over the revelation as he told the group that he's "thrilled" to have them in the finale while also raving about how "unique" the act is. Meanwhile, the second finalist of the night was announced to be Mike!

For the acts that were eliminated, they're still given a chance to win the grand prize. Each judge will choose a wild card act who will be competing for the Instant Save. The winner will be joining the other finalists in the 2-night finale on September 13 and 14.
