The 'Last Sharknado' star reveals that his 15-year-old kid has come out as trans at the premiere of his movie 'My Fake Boyfriend', after celebrating Pride with Liam and his oldest son Jack last week.

AceShowbiz - Dean McDermott is proudly speaking out of his trans kid. The actor has revealed that one of his children, whom he shares with his rumored estranged wife Tori Spelling, has come out as transgender.
The Canadian actor spoke out about his trans kid for the first time during the premiere of his latest movie "My Fake Boyfriend". In a video posted on his eldest son Jack's Instagram Story, the father of six acknowledges that 15-year-old Liam now identifies as transgender.
"The thing I love about this movie is I got to share it with my 15-year-old who identifies as trans and my gay son," Dean said in the clip, as the audience broke out into applause. "I love that they get a safe space to come and watch this."
The 55-year-old added of the film, "I think this movie is really important. It's as poignant as it is fun." He further gave a shout-out to his two aforementioned children, "So, thank you all for coming, and most importantly, to Jack and Liam, I love you guys."
While this is the first time Dean spoke about his trans kid, he had posted a series of pictures of him celebrating Pride with Jack and Liam last week. "WOW!!! What an amazing day celebrating @pride with my boys @thejackmonty and @liammcdermott2007 We had a BLAST!!" he wrote in the caption, before detailing their activities.
"First we started off @hamburgermarysweho rocking my @swoveralls_ for Drag Brunch @miss_danikay you're awesome!! Then we hit @pumprestaurant where the highlight of the day was spending time with the one and only @lisavanderpump and #Kentodd !!!" he added. "Thanks for spending time with us. It capped off a perfect day."
Dean shares Liam with his wife of 14 years, Tori. They have four other children, sons Finn Davey, 9, and Beau Dean, 5, as well as daughters Stella Doreen, 14, and Hattie Margaret, 10. Meanwhile, Jack is Dean's son with his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
Tori has not spoken up about her kid Liam, who identifies as trans. Recently, she opted to spend Father's Day with her daughter Stella, her pal Lance Bass, his husband Michael Turchin and their 8-month-old twins Violet Betty and Alexander James, while snubbing her husband amid reports about their "trial separation."
