Meanwhile, the 'Love the Way You Lie' hitmaker and her longtime boyfriend, who reportedly welcomed their first child together on Friday, May 13, have yet to officially announce the baby's arrival.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown is happy for his ex Rihanna as she has embarked on hermotherhood journey. After news broke that the "Umbrella" hitmaker and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their first child together, the "No Guidance" crooner subtly congratulated the new parents on social media.

On Thursday, May 19, the R&B singer took to his Instagram Story to share a cryptic message. "Congratulations," he penned alongside a heart emoji, a praying hands emoji as well as a pregnant woman emoji.

Chris' post arrived shortly after TMZ reported that Rihanna and Rocky have welcomed a baby boy. Sources told the outlet that the infant, whose name remains unknown, was born on Friday, May 13 in Los Angeles.

Prior to this, someone who claims to be working at a hospital divulged that Rihanna had everyone cleared off the floor when she was about to give birth at the undisclosed hospital. "Rihanna about to have her baby at the hospital I'm working at they cleared everybody off the floor," the said employee claimed in a Facebook post, which screenshot has been re-posted by Gossip of the City.

A few moments later, the person updated their status to inform that the Barbadian superstar allegedly has given birth to a baby boy. "She HAD A BOY YALL," so it's announced.

Neither Rihanna nor Rocky confirmed both reports.

Rihanna confirmed that she was having a bun in the oven in late January by showing off her baby bump during a romantic stroll with her beau in New York City. In March, the Fenty Beauty founder revealed in an interview with ELLE that she was already in her third trimester.

Later, RiRi was believed to be nearing her due date was she threw a baby shower in April, following Rocky's arrest at the Los Angeles International Airport. They allegedly decided to go ahead with the plans and hosted the soiree on April 22 despite his legal issue.

As for Chris, he was famously arrested and pleaded guilty to felony assault after attacking Rihanna when they were still dating. The "Iffy" singer was later sentenced to community service and mandatory anger management classes. He was also given a probation and a restraining order against his now-ex.

Despite the assault, Rihanna and Chris got back together for several years. The pair eventually split for good in 2013.

Rihanna herself once declared in an interview with Diane Sawyer that she didn't hate Chris despite what he did to her. "No, I don't hate him at all," she said in 2009. "I actually love and care about him and I think, I'm concerned about him doing well. I want him to do well, have a great career, have a great life."
