During the chaos amid her book signing event, the 'Selling Sunset' star fears for her life because she and her team believe that someone among the protesters might have been armed.

AceShowbiz - Christine Quinn is taking precaution very seriously. Becoming the latest target of enraged anti-fur protesters, the "Selling Sunset" star was caught on camera taking cover under a desk amid the chaos that took place during her book signing event.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the reality TV personality was at first seen signing her new book "How To Be a Boss B***h". Things took a turn for the worse when her book signing event, taking place at Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood, New Jersey on Sunday, May 15, got raided by anti-fur demonstrators.

The footage displayed Christine in the middle of interacting with fans when the animal rights protesters barged in and started protesting against fur wearing. A number of people who were already inside the venue took out posters and shouted their protests. Seeing what happened, the realtor agent quickly ducked under a desk.

It was reported that Christine hid under the desk because she and her team believed that someone among the protesters might have been armed. The assumption came after seeing one of the demonstrators reached for something in his pants.

Amidst the chaos, demonstrators appeared to hold up a sign with Christine's book title on it. However, instead of displaying the original title "boss b***h", they changed the words to "basic b***h" and "heartless b***h." It was quickly handled, and the event was able to resume back to normal after the protesters were sent away.

Christine, however, seemed to be left in shock over what transpired, and took some time to compose herself before returning back. After a while, she resumed taking photographs with her fans. It was noted that some of her fans came from as far as Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

Sadly, this was not the first time Christine was attacked by protesters at her book signing event. The 33-year-old reality star experienced similar disruption the day before. On Saturday, May 14, a group of mostly woman stood and protested outside of The Strand in NYC where her book signing was held.

The uproar happened amid news that Christine will be returning to sixth season of "Selling Sunset", following her termination from The Oppenheim Group. On Tuesday, May 17, the 33-year-old reality star talked about her return to the show. "I love the show," she told Us Weekly,"The show is, like, my No. 1 [and] everyone knows that."

"But we just have to get creative now because I don't work for the Oppenheim Group… maybe it's a battle of the brokerages," Christine added. "I'm not going anywhere. Like, I'll always be on television. I'm not going anywhere. It's just, like, let's have fun with this now."
