In another post shared on Instagram Story, the 'Get the Strap' rapper claims that he had been 'put in the box' for a few months so he would change his original not guilty plea.

AceShowbiz - Casanova really appreciates Chris Brown's support amid his incarceration. The "Get the Strap" rapper, who recently pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges in his years-long federal racketeering case, took to social media to extend his gratitude to the "No Guidance" singer.
"Thank you @ChrisBrownOfficial check cleared!" the 35-year-old emcee penned on Instagram Story. "You was one of the first persons to believe in me that will never go over my head! [fingers peace sign emoji][red X emoji]."
Prior to that, Casanova claimed that he had been put "in the box" for a few months so he would change his original not guilty plea. "The system is crazy they had me in the box for four months for no reason," he alleged. "Probably so I can take this plea."
"As soon as I copped out they moved me straight from court to Essex County without my knowledge and without any of my property, legal work or nothing SMH this is crazy," the Brooklyn native, born Caswell Senior, further revealed.
On Wednesday, Casanova pleaded guilty to "conspiring to conduct and participate in the conduct of the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity" and another count of "conspiring to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana."
The "Set Trippin" spitter reportedly admitted to shooting at someone "with whom he was having a gambling dispute" at a Florida party in July 2020. He also confessed that he participated in marijuana trafficking and a 2018 robbery.
Casanova's sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 6. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in federal prison and a maximum sentence of 60 years.
Luckily, the previous charges of attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon were dismissed, according to Casanova's attorney James Kousouros. "Mr. Senior accepted responsibility for his conduct which was possession with intent to sell marijuana and the robbery of a young lady in a diner who was filming him with her phone," the lawyer told Pitchfork.
"We hope that our presentation to the court in advance of sentencing will illuminate the facts and circumstances surrounding this case and present Mr. Senior for the person that he really is," the attorney added.
