"It's totally joyous," the 41-year-old mom told the outlet. "As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It's exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family."

Michelle and Thomas already share a son, Hart, who was born on 2020. As for the Oscar nominee, she is a also a mother to 16-year-old daughter Matilda from her relationship with the late actor Heath Ledger.

During the interview, Michelle also opened up about raising a young child during the COVID-19 pandemic. "It was a reminder that life goes on.
