The 'Vampire Diaries' actress and her producer beau reportedly got engaged after he proposed to her when they were vacationing in Mexico for his birthday a few weeks ago.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Katerina Graham. If a new report is to be believed, the Bonnie Bennett depicter on "The Vampire Diaries" has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Darren Genet and she "couldn't be happier" with it.
A source told PEOPLE that the producer popped the big question when he and the 32-year-old actress were vacationing in Mexico for his birthday a few weeks ago. Her representative also confirmed the report to the publication.
Kat and Darren have yet to offer more details about the proposal. However, the unnamed source revealed to the outlet that "Kat is madly in love and couldn't be happier."
Kat and Darren became an item in 2017 after they met on set. Although they have kept their relationship mostly private, the pair have made a few public appearances together. One in particular was at the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra back in December 2021.
Kat also treated her Instagram followers to some photos of the two when they were celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah last year. "Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! Wishing you the most beautiful Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa! However you celebrate, we hope your days are filled with love and happiness," she gushed in the accompaniment of the post.
In August, the "17 Again" star gave a shout-out to her beau on Instagram after they finished their project together. Posting a photo of her sitting on her man's lap, she raved, "My brilliant amazing talented love! Finally ready to show the world what we've been working on for 4 years… TOMORROW."
Kat was previously engaged to actor Cottrell Guidry after accepting his proposal back in 2012. The two, however, decided to call it quits in 2014. She was later rumored to be dating stand-up comedian Jay Pharoah, but they never confirmed the dating speculations despite being spotted at a "Saturday Night Live" party together.
