Looking out of breath, the 'Do We Have a Problem?' femcee stops on the stairs for a while to jokingly confront a reporter who possibly leaked her attendance.

AceShowbiz - Attending the Met Gala isn't all glamorous. Nicki Minaj has shown the real struggle to be one of the guests at the star-studded gala as she was caught getting exhausted while climbing the stairs at the event on Monday night, May 2.

Rocking an all-black outfit, the Trinidadian-born star was escorted by two gentlemen when ascending the stairs. She seemed to be out of breath when making her way into Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City, stopping for a while on the stairs.

While pausing momentarily to catch her breath, Nicki seemingly noticed a reporter who possibly leaked her attendance at the 2022 Met Gala. "Are you the man that leaked that I was gonna be here?" she confronted the reporter. "Yeah, you. It was you." She hurled an expletive as she added, "I'm about to come up to you and slap the s**t out of you," before continuing to walk.

Despite her seemingly serious threat, fans believe that Nicki was just joking around as she let out a little giggle and a smile on her face at the end.

Nicki pulled up at the event in a figure-hugging black leather pants and skirt by Burberry's Ricardo Tisci. She bedazzled in rhinestones that covered her arms, chest and even her face. The 39-year-old completed her edgy look with a black leather baseball cap, black leather boots and a headband, while her long raven hair was kept straight and loose.

This appearance marks Nicki's return to the Met Gala after skipping last year's annual fundraising event because she had not been vaccinated against COVID-19. At the time, she said that she refused to get vaccinated solely for the event, especially because she had not done enough research.

"They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won't for the Met," she explained in a tweet. "It'll be once I feel I've done enough research. I'm working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one."
