Cole Goldberg, whom the former TLC star has been dating for one year, allegedly tried to strangle and drown her during a heated argument on a boat in West Palm Beach, Florida.

AceShowbiz - "90 Day Fiance" alum Caroline Schwitzky has survived an alleged murder attempt by her own boyfriend. The former reality TV star's beau Cole Goldberg has been arrested after allegedly trying to strangle and drown her.

According to jail records, the couple got into a heated argument while on a boat on Sunday, April 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Eyewitnesses say Caroline tried to get away from Cole, whom she has been dating for one year, but he was holding and grabbing her very aggressively to keep her onboard.

The struggle went on for around 20 minutes and then Caroline began punching Cole's arms to free herself. When she eventually managed to break free, the former TLC star jumped off the boat and swam toward a nearby boat.

But Cole also jumped in after her and caught up to her in the water, according to onlookers. He allegedly tried to hold her underwater. The report obtained by TMZ says that onlookers screamed at Cole to stop to no avail.

Eventually, several people from a nearby boat jumped in the water to rescue her. They managed to pull Caroline up and away from Cole, even using a stick to keep him from boarding. Caroline, who appeared on "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?" in 2016, reportedly had bruises on her arm.

The police report shows officers for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission took Cole into custody after midnight Monday. He was charged with attempted homicide - murder first degree premeditated and battery - touch or strike. He was released at 10:09 P.M. Monday after posting a $60,000 bond.

Caroline, who is the CEO of Miami talent agency Urge and a mom of three, and Matt Paris, a bystander who helped rescue her, have obtained a no-contact order against Cole. Cole is due back in court for an initial case conference on June 16.
