AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea has been slammed by American Airlines after she called out the company for allegedly selling her and her 1-year-old son Onyx Kelly's seats and leaving them "stranded" without their luggage. However, according to the company's staff working at the Miami International Airport, the "Fancy" hitmaker arrived late at the terminal.

TMZ reported on Sunday, April 24 that the 31-year-old musician arrived at the airport at 5:30 P.M. for a 6 P.M. flight to Los Angeles. "She was able to check her bags and go through security, but someone in her party got held up going through TSA," said the American Airlines staff.

"Boarding ended 15 minutes before departure, which left Iggy and co. only 15 minutes to check baggage, get through security, and get to the gate," added the informant. "And, when she finally reached the gate, the door had already closed." According to the source, the luggage was returned to her home after a few days but not before she said she booked a different flight on a different airline in order to accommodate her.

On April 18, Iggy publicly called American Airlines out in a series of Twitter rants. "I wanted to tell any families booking travel be careful flying with young kids on @AmericanAir," she began, "I was flying with my son & they sold our seats while the gate was still open then refused to take our bags off the plane although every other flight was sold out for that night."

"So, now I'm stranded with an infant & no luggage in another city," Iggy vented in a separate tweet. The "Problems" singer went on to stress that the issue was handled "very unprofessionally and without any care or compassion."

Iggy continued, "I explained why stranding me is one thing but taking a babies luggage is pretty s**t. There's stuff he really needs. They do not care." She later shared that a different airline saved her day. "Lucky I booked a different airline but the average person would've been a** out and f**ked," she penned, before noting, "So just wanted to warn other moms… Be careful! [red heart emoji]."

In a following post, Iggy shared that she and her son Onyx "didn't get home til 3 AM." On the bright side, she said, she "was SOOO proud of onyx" as "he didn't cry once." She later gushed, "He was so good!" before adding, "Ughhh I'm so lucky to be his mama! He makes any bad day good, I just love my baby so damn muuuuch."
