The Australian singer/rapper, born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, was previously managed by the record executive for four months before ending his contract with the latter's SB Projects in September 2021.

AceShowbiz - The Kid LAROI is another artist to call out Scooter Braun publicly. When promoting his new single "Thousand Miles", the "Stay" hitmaker shared a video of him suggesting that working with the record executive was his "last mistake."

In a video shared on TikTok on Wednesday, April 13, LAROI was seen nodding along to the track as he asked fans to "show me ur last mistake." After the lyrics "Here goes another mistake I know I'm gonna make, I know I'm gonna make tonight," were played, photos of Braun popped up on the screen.

Many have since offered their two cents in the comment section. "Scooter been getting over on a lot of people don't even see him with [Justin Bieber] and [Taylor Swift] been told us about him pay attention," one person opined, while another argued, "A few of scooters artists have called him out in songs. Wtf is he doing."

LAROI, born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, was previously managed by Braun for four months. He decided to end his contract with Braun's SB Projects in September 2021 and move on with Adam Leber's Rebel Management, according to Billboard.

Despite the split, Braun had nothing but love for the Australian rapper. "LAROI is a brilliant artist, and I wish him and his family nothing but the best," the 40-year-old told the publication. "I'm proud of the historic success we had together in our short time - I am rooting for him always, and he knows that."

Braun himself has been famously feuding with Swift since 2019. Their beef started after he purchased her masters recordings from her first six albums through an acquisition of her former music label record, Big Machine. Upon hearing the sale, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter accused him of "incessant, manipulative bullying."

Braun later sold the masters to a private equity firm called Shamrock Holdings for over $300 million in November 2020. Swift, who has long tried to acquire her masters back, said she entered the negotiation but his team allegedly tried to make her sign "an ironclad NDA" before she could even place a bid. It prompted the "All Too Well" hitmaker to re-release her albums in her own versions.
