In a brief phone call from prison, the 'Murder on Mind' rapper can be heard defending his manager Track while slamming his mother after it is said that Track owes Melly's mom and brother money.

AceShowbiz - YNW Melly is setting the record straight from behind the bars. The "Murder on My Mind" spitter addressed the drama involving his mom, who made claims of theft against his manager, in a brief phone call from prison on Tuesday, April 5.

"Man, listen," Melly, who is currently behind bars at the Broward County Sheriff's Office for the double-murder of his friends YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, said on the call. "Everybody who entertaining that s**t, or whatever going on, bruh. That is not what it is, bruh. My momma be lying."

Further calling out his mom, the Florida rhymer said, "My momma got anxiety issues. Her a** tripping, bruh. You know what I'm saying?" He continued, "She feels some type of way because she feels my brother is supposed to be bigger or whatever bruh," referring to his brother YNW BSlime.

Defending his manager Jameson Francois, who professionally goes by Track, Melly added, "Nobody f**kin' my brother on no money. Track f**kin' my brother on money means I'm f**kin' my brother on money and I'd never do that to my little brother. We split the same percentage on my little brother's s**t."

"Been holding this down, bruh," the rapper, who was arrested in February of 2019 for the double-homicide that took place months prior in October of 2018, went on to divulge. "Over all my finances, over everything. We go over all my shit, monthly. Ain't no dime missing. Ain't no dime missing from my brother. Ain't none of that s**t going on. This the nigga that been holding it down day for day, picking the phone up. The only person I got that I can really depend on. I can't depend on my momma, I can't depend on nobody else, bruh."

"I'm fighting for my life right now. I got more s**t going on, you get what I'm saying? But all that s**t they talking about is not what it is," Melly, who is currently waiting for his trial, ranted. "JGreen is out of pocket. I don't even know…he don't even know what's going on…my momma lying, my momma crazy as f**k. What you doing? You get what I'm saying. N***as be out of pocket and n***as be on drugs and n***as be trippin' and s**t."

Melly's mom allegedly reacted to his phone call in a now-deleted Instagram post. She said that she would always support Melly and make sure he was monetarily secure while in jail despite the conversation her son had with his manager.

This arrived after JGreen, an affiliate of Melly's, accused Track, of owing both his mother and brother money during a heated Instagram live stream. In an alleged text exchange between Track and BSlime, Slime could be seen telling the manager he's only 14 years old and doesn't want to be involved with the tension between Track and his mother.

Amid the controversy, Track took to Instagram to issue an apology. "I TOOK EVERYTHING DOWN AS A LEADER I APOLOGIZE TODAY FOR MY ACTION FAKE AS SITUATIONS BROUGHT THE WORST OUT OF ME BUT WE BETTER THEN THAT AND I WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE FORGIVE ME BLOG SITES TAKE THAT RECORDING DOWN I DONT CARE IF YALL LEAVE THE OTHER STUFF BUT @ynwmelly LOVE HIS MOM @jamiek_ynw AND HIS FAMILY WE ALL SAID STUFF OUT OF ANGER AT THE END OF THE DAY WE ALL FAMILY RIGHT OR WRONG .. lil bra got trial coming up let's put positive messages out there – Track," so he wrote on Tuesday alongside a picture of Melly and his family.
