The tension between Tyler, who also won the same award in 2020, and DJ Khaled started back in 2019 when they shared release week of their albums, 'Igor' and 'Father of Asahd'.

AceShowbiz - The beef between Tyler, The Creator and DJ Khaled has yet to be over. If anything, the former reignites the feud by trolling the former during a live stream on Instagram after he took home the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for his project, "Call Me If You Get Lost".

During the Instagram Live on Sunday, April 3, Tyler thanked DJ Drama, who produced the award-winning album. "First off, I'm hyped," he said. "Thank you to DJ Drama. You are f**king so important to rap music… Thank you to all of my friends for being my cheerleaders. Thank you to my whole team, the whole squad."

He later addressed the "I'm the One" rapper, saying, "and [thank you to DJ Khaled]. I know you're seething and angry and [saying], 'Ugh, no one listens to that album!' These arena tours that are selling out say different, and if you put that much energy into something, maybe everyone will be proud of you too."

The tension between Tyler and DJ Khaled started back in 2019 when they shared release week of their albums, "Igor" and "Father of Asahd". DJ Khaled defending himself against trolls in a Snapchat video, but that was interpreted as a slanted attack on Tyler's album.

When "Igor" challenged "Father of Asahd" No. 1 position, DJ Khaled bashed Tyler in a now-deleted tweet. "I make albums so people can play it and you actually hear it. You know, driving your car, you hear another car playing it. You know, go to the barbershop, you hear them playing it," so he wrote at the time.

That aside, Tyler won Best Rap Album award over J. Cole's "The Off-Season", Drake's "Certified Lover Boy", Nas's "King Disease II" and Kanye West's "Donda". "Thanks wow yeah," Tyler wrote on Twitter after the victory. "Thanks to everyone who listened, watched a video or came to a show." This marked his second win for the category after he took home the same award for "Igor" in 2020.
