"Meet Viktor Hargreeves @UmbrellaAcadM," so the actor wrote on Wednesday, March 30 on Twitter. He also attached a picture of Viktor, who previously went with Vanya, at a restaurant.

Netflix also confirmed the news as writing, "FEELS SO GOOD TO SAY THIS: Elliot Page stars as Viktor Hargreeves in Umbrella Academy S3!!!" In its main account, Netflix also welcomed Viktor "to the family," adding, "We're so happy you're here."

After the "Juno" actor came out as transgender in December 2020, it was initially reported that Elliot would continue playing the role of Vanya Hargreeves, a cisgender woman who has supower involving sound. An insider also claimed that the series didn't plan on changing the character's gender.

At the time, Netflix allegedly planned to only change Elliot's credited name. In a teaser for "The Umbrella Academy" season 3 which was unveiled earlier this month, Elliot's character was still being referred to as Vanya.

Elliot announced his new identity on social media on December 1, 2020. "I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot," he explained. "I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life."

"I can't begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self... I ask for patience. My joy is real, but it is also fragile. The truth is, despite feeling profoundly happy right now and knowing how much privilege I carry, I am also scared. I'm scared of the invasiveness, the hate, the 'jokes' and of the violence," he went on saying.

Back to the show, the new installment of "The Umbrella Academy" will see Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, Adam Godley, Colm Feore and Justin H. Min returning. They will be joined by new cast members, including Justin Cornwell ("Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey"), Britne Oldford ("Hunters"), Jake Epstein ("Suits"), Genesis Rodriguez ("Big Hero 6") and Cazzie David.

Season 3 of "The Umbrella Academy" will be available to stream on June 22 on Netflix.
