The president apparently didn't realize his mic was on when he insulted Fox News' White House Correspondent Peter Doocy with some foul language over his ridiculous question about inflation.

AceShowbiz - Joe Biden has shown his remorse after being caught insulting a reporter with some foul language in an apparent hot mic moment. The president has apologized to Fox News' White House Correspondent Peter Doocy after he called the journalist a "stupid son of a b***h."
On Monday night, January 24, Doocy revealed that President Biden had called him to apologize for his insult. Being a man with big heart, Doocy said he accepted the president's apology.
The hot mic moment took place during a photo-op at the White House earlier on Monday following a roundtable chat with his cabinet on how to quickly lower costs in the U.S. As journalists were being ushered out, reporters shouted out last-minute questions hoping that Biden would respond.
Doocy, in particular, fired away, "Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?" Biden caught wind of the question and he sarcastically mumbled to himself, "It's a great asset-more inflation. What a stupid son of a b***h," apparently thinking that his mic was off.
But that wasn't the case as his mic was on. While others in the room could hear Biden's insult, Doocy himself said he didn't hear it and was told by other reporters about the comment. Being interviewed shortly after Biden's remark, Doocy's colleagues poked fun at him over the jab.
Fox News political commentator Jesse Waters quipped, "Doocy, I think the president's right. You are a stupid SOB." Playing along, "Doocy said, Yeah. Nobody has fact-checked me," prompting more laughs from everyone in the studio.
This isn't the first time Biden made biting comment on reporters. Last week, he called Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich's inquiry about Russia-Ukraine tensions "stupid."
"Why are you waiting on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to make the first move, sir?" Heinrich asked last Thursday, January 20. The president gave a disbelieving look and muttered to a group of science policy advisers, "What a stupid question."
Sen. Marsha Blackburn later came to Heinrich's defense, calling the president "sexist" for his comment. "This is extremely sexist and uncalled for. @JacquiHeinrich is a well-prepared, smart reporter, and Biden should apologize immediately," the senator tweeted.
