The hip-hop mogul is reportedly pleased that his ex-wife is only getting a fraction of his estimated $820 million estate following a long and nasty divorce battle.

AceShowbiz - Dr. Dre's ex Nicole Young has scored a massive settlement in their divorce. The rapper/record producer has agreed to pay his former wife $100 million to finalize terms of their split.

According to TMZ, the former member of gangsta rap group N.W.A couldn't be more "delighted" that Nicole is only getting a fraction of his estimated net worth of $820 million. She originally sought half of his fortune, but there's a prenup which she contested.

Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, will split the payment in two, with $50 million to be paid to his ex-wife now and another $50 million a year from now. Nicole will be required to move out of their Malibu house by the end of the month, but will keep a Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, Spyder motorcycle and her jewelry as well as cash and bank accounts that she had maintained during the marriage.

In exchange, Dre gets to keep 7 of their properties, including the Malibu home, 2 homes in Calabasas, a $100 million Brentwood estate and 3 other properties in the L.A. area. In addition, the 56-year-old gets full rights to his master recordings, trademarks and interests in various partnerships and trusts. He also keeps all of their Apple stocks, which includes the proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre.

Nicole also has to pay her own legal fees, which amount to millions of dollars. Sources connected to the hip-hop mogul says his ex could have gotten much more had she settled a year ago. "She could have even been on the field for the Super Bowl halftime show as a friendly ex-wife," one of the sources says.

The $100 million settlement concludes their 18-month divorce proceeding that was highly publicized after Nicole filed to end their more than two decades of marriage in June 2020.
