The 'Flipping Out' alum says that he's in 'pretty bad shape' after throwing a party, which causes many of the attendees to catch the virus, at 'The Real Housewives of Miami' alum Lea Black's Los Angeles home.

AceShowbiz - Jeff Lewis has tested positive for COVID-19. When revealing that he got the virus after throwing a holiday bash, the former star of "Flipping Out" insisted that the "superspreader" party was "worth dying for."

"Thursday is when everyone started testing positive," the 51-year-old explained in the Monday, December 27 episode of his SiriusXM radio show "Jeff Lewis Live". He added that the "Shahs of Sunset" star Mercedeh Javid Feight, who was also in attendance, tested positive as well. "A third of us got it. And we also have people with symptoms who haven't been tested yet," he noted.

Lewis said of the event, which was held at "The Real Housewives of Miami" alum Lea Black's Los Angeles home, "I don't regret [it], by the way." He went on reasoning, "That was an epic party. It was so worth almost dying for."

"Christmas Eve, I tested negative, so I went to my family's Christmas Eve dinner," Jeff explained further. The TV personality added, "I did wear a mask and I stayed distanced. Then I started feeling sick at dinner. I went home early."

Lewis offered more details on his condition as saying, "By the next day I was in pretty bad shape." He continued, "My fever went up to 103.8. I was able to get it down to 102 then it soared to 104.5, which is insane. Scottie [his boyfriend] took a bowl of ice water and was putting clothes on my body to try to bring the temperature down."

"There was no sweat whatsoever, I was just radiating heat," Lewis shared. He also said that he "was a little delirious" and told his on-again-off-again boyfriend Scott Anderson, "I think you're going to wake up tomorrow and I'm going to be dead."

Lewis went on to say he had done everything to ensure everyone was safe, even hiring a nurse to test every guest before they went in. "People are saying we're reckless and stupid. No, we're not, f**kers," he insisted. "We were all vaccinated and we had a nurse there testing all of us before we even went in the door. I thought we were being responsible."

Lewis confirmed that for the time being, he will continue distancing himself from his 5-year-old daughter Monroe, who has been staying with her other dad, Gage Edward. "I don't want her to get sick, and I also don't want to take care of her because I don't have any nannies," he continued, noting that even his housekeepers have COVID-19. "I'm down to two, and if anything happens to those two, I'm not going to be able to feed myself. I don't know who is going to be able to take care of me."
