The 'Too Little Too Late' hitmaker is taking her relationship with her actor beau to the next level as she says yes when the 'Saved by the Bell' star asks her to marry him.

AceShowbiz - Wedding bells are on the way for JoJo. The "Too Little Too Late" hitmaker is engaged to her boyfriend Dexter Darden just in time for Christmas. The actor proposed to her in a romantic setting on the jolly holiday.
The "Saved by the Bell" star popped the big question in front of family and close friends. The bride-to-be shared pictures and clips from the proposals, showing red rose petals and flowers scattered on the floor inside the room.
"Forever with YOU? Sign me UP. celebrating Christmas a whole fiance!!! the most thoughtful, creative, positive, handsome, strong, loving, uplifting human being asked me to marry him. so obviously I said YESSS!!!" she exclaimed.
It was a triple celebration for her as she added, "Thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever. and for flying out my mom, your mom, and both of our best friends to share in that incredible moment with us. you are one of one. LFG @dexterdarden."
Dexter was quick to respond to his wife-to-be on the comment section, "Yupppppp [fire emoji] thank you for being my forever."
It's unclear when the two started dating, but Dexter began posting about her on his page in October to hype her up following the release of her mini album. He called her "the bravest artist" he'd ever known and described her project as "Vulnerable, Honest, Motivational, Emotional, and most importantly True!"
The engagement came just days after JoJo turned 31 on December 20.
He gushed over his girlfriend in his post, "Happy Birthday To the Brightest Star In My Universe, The Beat To My Heart, The Woman I prayed for @iamjojo !"
"Jo Thank you for challenging me, Pushing me to be the best Man I can be, and Making me smile when no one else can. You are Gift from God to the world, and the best present I’ve ever received. TO THE MOON AND BACK, I got Your back!"
They seemed to have known each other for a long time as one of the throwback photos he shared showed them together from their younger days.
Meanwhile, she wrote, "THIRTY WON. YOOOOOOOOO. So many emotions right now. GRATITUDE AND EXCITEMENT topping them all."
"Thank you for all the amazingly thoughtful birthday messages," she continued. "I feel so full and loved. and baby, thank you for everything."
