Jay-Z previously discussed the possibility of him doing the song battle during a Twitter Spaces conversation with Alicia Keys, saying, 'No one can stand on that stage with me.'

AceShowbiz - While Jay-Z believes that no one can defeat him in a "Verzuz" battle, Future seemingly disagrees. As Internet users were debating about Jay-Z's claims, Future's name was thrown into the mix as some people believed that the latter could win a hit-for-hit challenge against the hip-hop mogul.

On Thursday, December 23, the "Mask Off" spitter took to his Instagram Story to share a repost from Duct Tape Entertainment CEO Big Bank Black. The post featured a message which read, "I Promise You, ErrBody From Atlanta Feels Like Pluto Can Win A Versus Against Hov!"

Jay-Z discussed the possibility of him doing a "Verzuz" during a Twitter Spaces conversation with Alicia Keys. "No one can stand on that stage with me. It's not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me," the husband of Beyonce Knowles said.

"You got to stand in front of the 'Grammy Family Freestyle' live? No one has ever even seen me perform that, you got to stand in front of that? That ain't never going to happen," the "4:44" artist added.

His remarks earned mixed reactions from Internet users as well as a number of fellow rappers. Lil Jon wrote, "BUSTA [Rhymes] WILL SMOKE JAY Z."

That aside, Jay-Z was dragged online for comparing his wife to Michael Jackson in the same Twitter Spaces. "Bey's gonna be mad at this for saying this but Michael Jackson never had a Coachella, she's an evolution of him because she watched him at 9. And [the kids are] the same," Hov said. "Find me a concert that's as culturally relevant and thrilling as Coachella."

He added, "Beyonce is gonna be one of the best singers we ever heard because she is such a student."

Some people quickly slammed Jay-Z for the comments. "Michael Jackson was on an entirely different level. He did all of this without the presence of social media, Apple Music, YouTube and Spotify," a person said. Another fan of the "Smooth Criminal" singer noted, "Michael Jackson didn't need a COACHELLA, period. He setting his own wife up, leave them both alone. Beyoncr is super talented and inspirational Beyonce. And Michael Jackson is Michael Jackson."
