The 'Jenny From the Block' singer sets the record straight on the rumors suggesting she was fuming for being dragged into controversy involving boyfriend and his ex-wife.

AceShowbiz - Everything is good between Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Ben Affleck. Despite rumors she was furious for being dragged into controversy after Ben seemingly blamed ex-wife Jennifer Garner on his drinking problem, the songstress insisted she's really unbothered by the noise.

"This story is simply not true," J.Lo disputed the reports. "It is not how I feel." She additionally said she had nothing but love for the "Justice League" actor, "I couldn't have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person."

Ben Affleck previously suggested he became alcoholic because he was stuck in an unhappy marriage to Jennifer. "We probably would've ended up at each other's throats. I probably still would've been drinking," he said. "Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped."

The "Argo" director told Howard Stern he drowned his misery with booze as he struggled to keep his marriage intact, "I was like, 'I can't leave because of my kids, but I'm not happy, what do I do?' And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution."

Following backlash, he quickly went on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to clarify what he meant with his remarks. He insisted people deliberately twisted his comments and made him "the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy."

"That's not true. I don't believe that. It's the exact opposite of who I am, what I believe and I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom...," he claimed. "It hurts my feelings."

"I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other and cared about our kids and put them first and went through our stuff," he pointed out.
