AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish believed that getting vaccinated helped her get through COVID-19 back in August. During an appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show on Monday, December 13, the "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker talked about her battle against the novel virus.

The topic about COVID-19 came up as Billie coughed during the interview which prompted Howard to ask the singer if she come down with COVID. To that, the Grammy winner replied, "I just tested, I don't have COVID. I also had COVID already. Nobody knows that. But f**k that s**t, dude."

Billie revealed she contracted the coronavirus in August, adding that she "would have, like, died" if she hadn't gotten vaccinated. "I still have side effects, I was sick for, like, two months almost," she explained.

"This was in August, a couple months ago. I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine I'm fine. I think if I weren't vaccinated, I would have, like, died, because it was bad," the pop star continued. "When I say it was bad, I more just mean that it felt horrible. But really, in the scheme of COVID, it was not bad. You know what I mean? When you're sick, you feel f**king horrible."

Further promoting COVID vaccination, the musician went on to say, "The vaccine is f**king amazing and it also saved [brother/collaborator] Finneas from getting it, it saved my parents from getting it, saved my friends from getting it."

Billie, who hosted and served as musical guest in the Saturday, December 11 episode of "Saturday Night Love", joked that "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels was the one who gave her cold. "Can I tell you a secret?" she said. "Lorne was sick, coughing everywhere. Mr. Lorne was coughing and coughing and coughing."

Detailing her experience on the hit comedy show, Billie shared, "Saturday was, like, you know, one of the best days of my life, it was so much fun and so amazing and surreal and ridiculous." While it was exciting to be on the show, Billie revealed that the lead-up was "f**king nuts" as she "cried every single day of the week, no joke at all."
