AceShowbiz - Florence Pugh's excitement over her appearance on "Hawkeye" apparently didn't really sit well with some people. After episode four aired on Disney+, the actress, who reprised her "Black Widow" character Yelena Belova on the show, took to Instagram to share a clip of her appearance, only to get it taken down.

In one of her posts, Florence shared a picture of her "Hawkeye" co-star. "[Hailee Steinfeld] being the ultimate best friend through high and low." She went on to write over a Clint Barton screenshot, "[Jeremy Renner], great hair day babe."

The actress also treated her online followers to a hilarious audio commentary track on the episode. "Get it Hailee!" she exclaimed, before providing her own sound effects such as "pew! pew!"

Florence also included the scene when her character appears with Hailee's Kate Bishop threatening to shoot her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Florence jokingly quipped in the background.

However, the last post was quickly taken down. Some people seemingly reported the post as they weren't happy to see spoilers on social media even though the episode was already available to watch on Disney+. "I never thought me posting love about a show in which I appear on would get taken down...but here we are," the actress revealed on Thursday, December 9.

"Someone on here complained so I've been blocked from posting my own appearance on a show that I'm very much in," she continued. "Beyond ridiculous. Being in [Hawkeye] is a privilege and thank you to all who welcomed me on set and off and all who are watching."

Florence's appearance on the Marvel series wasn't actually a secret as it was first revealed back in December 2020. Meanwhile, the directors behind the episode, Bert and Bertie, spoke about Florence's appearance in an interview with Comic Book Resources. "To bring her story into this was such a dream come true," Bert said. "So, being a fan of Florence and what she had done with Yelena's character, [it] was very exciting."
