AceShowbiz - Forbes has officially revealed 100 names on their World's Most Powerful Women of the year. The likes of Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna, Beyonce Knowles, and Taylor Swift are among the Hollywood celebrities ranked on the magazine's annual prestigious list.
Oprah sits at No. 23, becoming the highest-ranked Hollywood star on class of 2021. The former daytime talk show queen made headlines earlier this year as she sat down with Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle in the couple's first-ever TV interview after their controversial royal exit. She has an estimated wealth of $2.6 billion.
Rihanna occupies No. 68. The singer-turned-fashion mogul has officially become a billionaire with her fortune listed at $1.7 billion. She collected over $550 million in revenue from her Fenty brand alone with the popular products including cosmetics and lingerie. She was recently declared a national hero of her native Barbados for bringing pride to the country.
Further down the list, there's Beyonce. One of the mainstays on the list, the R&B hitmaker is placed at No. 76. She made waves this year with her new collection of Ivy Park with Adidas. Her most recent LP, a visual album called "Black Is King", curated for Disney movie "The Lion King" where she was among the voice cast, won multiple Grammys.
Taylor follows a couple steps lower at No. 78. The "Wildest Dreams" singer has been getting rave reviews for her album reboots, which were made in an effort to take control of her master recordings after the original ones were sold without her consent. Both "Fearless" and "Red" revamps debuted atop the charts and U.S. biggest radio chain has since replaced her hits with the new recordings.
Other names in the entertainment business who are recognized by Forbes included Reese Witherspoon who has been getting a lot of attention for creating a safe space for female artists through her female production company, director Ava DuVernay who made a name for herself with numerous critically-acclaimed projects, and tennis champ Serena Williams who has started to expand her empire by investing in numerous startups.
