AceShowbiz - The "Sex and the City" ladies are back! On Tuesday, November 30, HBO Max released the first trailer for the show's revival "And Just Like That…", much to everyone's excitement. The new video gives insight into Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt's life two decades after the show's original run.
Kicking off the trailer, Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie says while on what seems to be a radio, "The more I live... the more I find that if you have good friends in your corner, anything's possible." She goes on to say, "The future is unwritten because we're all at different stages of life."
The trailer also features Chris Noth's Mr. Big, who is still married happily to Carrie. "I remember when you kept your sweaters in the stove," he tells Carrie. Fans are additionally given a vintage "Sex and the City" humor when new cast member Sara Ramirez’s character, podcaster Che Diaz, asking Carrie whether she's ever masturbated in a public place. "Not since Barney's closed," Carrie responds.
On the upcoming series, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Willie Garson, who passed away in September, return to reprise their past roles. They are joined by new cast members Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman. Meanwhile, Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones is not included on the reboot.
The upcoming show will explore how the lives of Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Carrie and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) have changed and evolved "as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s."
Original series creator Michael Patrick King directed and wrote the first two episodes of 10 episodes of "And Just Like That...". The show is set to debut on December 9 with two episodes, with the rest of the episodes premiering every Thursday on HBO Max.
