AceShowbiz - Austin Aaron is officially a married man. The Luke Holliday depicter on "13 Reasons Why" tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Kristen McNamara at Tre Posti in St. Helena, Napa Valley, California.
The 24-year-old TV star exchanged vows with his bride in front of their families and friends. In attendance at the wedding were his "13 Reasons Why" castmates Devin Druid, Tyler Barnhardt, Timothy Granaderos and Justin Prentice, as well as his co-stars from an upcoming Los Angeles Lakers HBO drama series.
Of their wedding vows, Kristen told PEOPLE, "I am so thankful we were both able to get through them without hardcore crying." She added, "My favorite line from Austin's vows was, 'I never went to church growing up, but I thank God every day that I met you.' " Austin chimed in, "My favorite line from Kristen's vows was, 'You are the person I was meant to find and the person my heart will always love.' "
"We have honestly been married since the day we met, but I wanted to make it officially official," Austin gushed. The actor shared, "We decided to get married in November because my hometown of Napa is absolutely gorgeous after harvest with impeccable fall colors everywhere. We lucked out, and it could not have been a more perfect 75-degree day to get married."
Austin also told the publication that he's the most excited to get to wear a ring on his finger. However, he added that "being able to simply do life together with [his] best friend by my side [is what (he's) most excited for]."
"Kristen is thoughtful, caring, hard-working, selfless and absolutely the most beautiful girl I know," Austin gushed over his wife. He went on to recall, "I showed my mom pictures of girls I thought were cute in college, and when I got to Kristen, she said, 'Stop eating. Call her right this second.' "
Austin did what his mom told him. He called Kristen and it "turns out she picked up." He continued, "I said I've always wanted a relationship like my parents, and I'm so blessed to say I've found it with Kristen."
As to how he knew Kristen was the one, Austin stated it was "the fact that we can go to Target, Marshall's or Ross any day and have the absolute time of our lives." He went on to add, "We are able to laugh together every day, not take life too seriously and enjoy the little moments in life with each other," before raving over Kristen, "she is my absolute best friend and soulmate."
Austin, who proposed to Kristen in December 2020, also took to his Instagram account to share the happy news. Along with a series of photos from the wedding, he wrote, "11/14/21 was the absolute greatest day of our lives."
"Was ridiculously nervous but got to marry the love of my life and have the time of our lives with all our friends, family and loved ones by our side," Austin confessed. The TV actor added, "Cannot thank everyone enough for coming out and celebrating this moment with us we are feeling beyond grateful/blessed. Huge huge thank you to all our incredibly talented vendors that did such a sensational job to give us our dream wedding."
