AceShowbiz - Britney Spears and her fiance Sam Asghari have modelled #FreeBritney T-shirts ahead of the pop star's conservatorship hearing on Friday (12Nov21).
A hearing in the case is due to take place in Los Angeles, during which Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny is widely expected to terminate the legal agreement, which has been in place since 2008.
In June (21), the "Toxic" star spoke out about the conservatorship for the first time, claiming she was drugged and forced to perform her residency in Las Vegas in 2018, and that she has been made to use birth control to prevent her from conceiving a child.
Ahead of the milestone hearing, Britney took to Instagram via Sam's account to share a clip of herself and her man sporting white and black T-shirts, respectively, with the message "#FreeBritney It's a human rights movement."
In the caption, the couple simply penned, "Loading...."
Earlier this week, Britney seemingly referenced the legal hearing, writing on her own Instagram account, "This week is gonna be very interesting for me !!! I haven't prayed for something more in my life !!!"
"I know I've said some things on my Insta out of anger and I'm sorry but I'm only human … and I believe you'd feel the same way if you were me!!!"
"Anyway it's a new day and I can't say I'm never going to complain again... cuz who knows !!! God bless you all and have a great day. (sic)"
Last month, it was ruled that Jamie remaining in charge of his daughter's estate was "untenable" and he was ordered to turn over the documents relating to the conservatorship to John Zabel, a certified public accountant who was appointed as a temporary conservator of the pop star's estate.
The "Womanizer" hitmaker's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, previously vowed to investigate Jamie and claimed he "profited off his daughter's conservatorship."
