The tragic rapper's mother Carmela Wallace reveals that the follow-up to her son's chart-topping 2020 album 'Legends Never Die' will be titled 'Fighting Demons'.

AceShowbiz - Tragic rapper Juice WRLD's mum has served up a Christmas treat for his fans - a second posthumous album will be released next month (December 2021). Carmela Wallace announced the news on Thursday, November 11, revealing the project will be titled "Fighting Demons".

"There was nothing Jarad 'Juice WRLD' Higgins enjoyed more than delivering new music to his millions of fans around the world," she said in a statement. "He left behind an astonishingly deep catalog of music that will ensure his fans will have new songs to listen to for years to come."

"Jarad was always searingly honest about his struggles and through his musical genius, he articulated what was on his heart and mind vividly through his art. He never gave up and his friends and family never gave up on offering their support to him."

The rapper suffered an accidental drug overdose and died in December 2019. "We encourage all of you who struggle with addiction and mental health to never give up the fight," his mum added. "We continue to extend free support to you via LiveFree999.org created in his honor."

Wallace established the website in October 2020 as a resource for parents of children who struggle with addiction, anxiety and depression.

"Fighting Demons" will be the follow-up to chart-topping 2020 album "Legends Never Die". A trailer for the effort has been released. Stressing that "addiction, anxiety, depression do not define you," it hears Juice say, "There was never really no filter in my head."

"Music kinda helps the situation pass. I have detachment - pretty much you feel detached from yourself all the time," he goes on to add. "Me talking about certain things could help somebody else through what they're going through."
