The 'Antidote' rapper reportedly didn't know the severity of the situation when he went to an after-party thrown by Drake, who had just performed with him at the festival.

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II) was apparently still in good mood after the Astroworld Festival that left eight people dead and many others injured. The rapper wasn't immediately aware of the mass casualty that happened during the Texas show and went straight to Dave & Buster's instead.

Sources connected to the Houston native tell TMZ that the "Sicko Mode" spitter remained clueless as he headed to Dave & Buster's for an after-party thrown by Drake, who had just performed as a special guest with him at the show. He reportedly was never told at the festival that people had died in the crowd and hundreds more were injured. Drake reportedly also had no clue that there were people dying at the festival.

"Travis didn't know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party," the sources say, "as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place."

While there were pleas to camera operators to stop the show as the crowd crush took place, sources insist Travis didn't know this because he was at least 50 yards away from that camera operator. He also did not hear the pleas to end the show because fans were dying.

However, when he was told at Dave & Buster's about the tragedy, Travis reportedly immediately left the party.

Travis previously said in an Instagram video that he was unaware of the "severity of the situation" and was "devastated" to find out about it. According to The Independent, the rapper was in fact attempting to stop his concert several times, telling the crowd to make space for a person who was unconscious. However, he thought that a few people who were being attended to simply passed out from dehydration. TMZ also reported that because of the pyrotechnics, strobe lights and all, he couldn't see the scope of the calamity.
