AceShowbiz - Pooh Shiesty's fans have been left baffled by his team's recent announcement. After the team showed a way to send the "Back In Blood" rapper money while he's in jail, many online users questioned why he would need cash from them.
Taking to Shiesty's Instagram Story, his team reposted information about the commissary system. "I get a lot of DM's about how kan I send Pooh Shiesty some bread well this is one way through Western Union either in the store or online," so read the note.
"Account # 52490590. Inmate name: Williams52490590. Attn:Lontrell Williams Jr," the message, which was originally posted by @mobtiesglobal, further read. "City code: FBOP, State Code: DC."
Fans have since reacted to the post. One person in particular wondered, "HE needs bread from US ??" Another argued, "why am I giving the rich n***a money?" A third echoed the sentiment, "Man's rich shouldn't b asking for money on his books."
Shiesty, who is signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Records and Atlantic Records, has been in police custody after his bond in his October 2020 shooting case in Florida got revoked. At first, he was granted a $10,000 bond by a judge in his Miami-Dade shooting case on May 30, in which he allegedly shot one of the security guards at the King of Diamonds nightclub.
In the 2020 case, Shiesty, along with friends Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, arranged a meeting in the parking lot of the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands to buy marijuana and "high-end athletic sneakers." However, once the sellers arrived at the spot, they refused to pay for the items and shot the sellers.
Shiesty has since been hit with three federal charges, including Conspiracy to Possess Firearms in Furtherance of Violent Crime, Hobbs Act Robbery Conspiracy and Discharging a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence. He reportedly agreed to plead guilty after making a court appearance on October 21.
