The director is selling off a collection of never-before-seen footage from his classic crime black comedy fronted by John Travolta as non-fungible tokens in an upcoming auction.

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino is getting into the NFT market after agreeing to auction off a clutch of never-before-seen "Pulp Fiction" scenes.

The seven uncut scenes from the cult 1994 movie will feature as Secret NFTs on leading marketplace OpenSea.

"I'm excited to be presenting these exclusive scenes from Pulp Fiction to fans," Quentin said in a statement. "Secret Network and Secret NFTs provide a whole new world of connecting fans and artists and I'm thrilled to be a part of that."

The official announcement reads, "The secret content itself is one-of-a-kind, has never been seen or heard before, and will include the uncut first handwritten scripts of Pulp Fiction and exclusive custom commentary from Tarantino, revealing secrets about the film and its creator."

"The public metadata of the NFT - the 'front cover' of this exclusive content - is rare in its own right: a unique, never-before-seen, public-facing work of art."

Warner Brothers have also created unique avatars inspired by Keanu Reeves' classic movie "The Matrix" and the studio have put them on the market as NFTs.

There is an option for "Blue Pill," which will keep their avatar The Matrix, and "Red Pill," which will transform it into a resistance fighter.

"It's another touchpoint for fans to engage, and another way we can entertain and provide great content.... Given that enthusiasm (for the franchise), and the very nature of what the Matrix story and settings are about, an NFT program seemed perfect," they said.
