AceShowbiz - Sukihana meant no hate against Ciara with her tweets about Selena costume. The rapper/reality TV star recently criticized people for dressing up as the late Latino entertainer, who she thinks was barely known by public. Interestingly, earlier on the same day Ciara unveiled her Halloween costume as Selena.
After many suspected that Sukihana threw a subtle shade at Ciara, the former has denied that her tweets were aimed at the R&B songstress. "Ciara is unproblematic and literally doesn't bother anybody Stop tryna put me against her," so the "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star clarified on her Instagram Story.
"I ain't even seen her costume," Sukihana, whose real name is Destiny Henderson, insisted. "it was a joke but I said what I said [crying laughing emojis]. If you can't laugh kiss my [surprised emoji]." After Hollywood Unlocked reposted her message, she added in the comment section, "Kiss my dookie shooter to whoever mad idgaf."
Ciara debuted her transformation into Selena on her Instagram page on Friday, October 29. The 36-year-old posted several photos of her wearing the singer's famed bandeau cross top and flared pants, photoshopping herself onto a makeshift album cover for "Selena Live! The Last Concert".
"The Legendary Selena! I've been practicing learning Spanish and having the time of my life. So I wanted one of my costumes to reflect the LatinX culture," she explained in the caption. "This was so much fun!"
The wife of Russell Wilson also shared a video of herself performing Selena's hit song "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom". She captioned the clip, "Me llamo SELENA!! Welcome to my show! Bidi Bidi Bom Bom."
While many, including Vanessa Bryant and La La Anthony, showed their love for Ciara's transformation into Selena, Sukihana wrote on her Twitter account, "All y'all h*es love being Selena every Halloween, h*e be Harriet Tubman for once.. Don't even know that lady songs."
She added in a separate tweet, "All y'all know is beedy beads bumpa or what ever tf she be singing. Selena don't want y'all to keep dressing up as her for Halloween." While she didn't name names, many were quick to speculate that she was shading Ciara.
