According to his wife, Debra, the professional wrestler is 'resting comfortably now' after undergoing a successful surgery following his prostate cancer diagnosis.

AceShowbiz - "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan has offered his fans and followers more updates on his health. The professional wrestler has undergone another surgery after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Announcing his current condition was his family. Taking to his Instagram account, his family wrote, "Jim's surgery went as planned. He is resting comfortably now." The statement continued, "Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and well wishes. Please continue them as he continues to heal," adding a hashtag that read, "Physicals save lives."

The procedure came just one day after Jim divulged his diagnosis. "Hi folks. Deborah and I always share the good times, but today we've got to share some bad times," the 67-year-old wrestler said in a video he shared on his page.

"I've been diagnosed with prostate cancer and I'm having my surgery tomorrow," Jim continued, before sharing that he and Debra "have been living with it and getting ready." He added, "But the reality is here. I'm going to Charleston tomorrow for my cancer surgery."

Jim said, "So folks I know you've been thinking and praying for me with this last surgery, but please think of me this Friday as I go into my cancer surgery down in Charleston." He then concluded the clip as saying, "So thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and we'll see you down the road with the grace of God and the skills of the doctors. Love ya."

One week earlier, Jim was rushed to hospital to undergo an emergency surgery. "Back where we don't want to be. Please pray for Jim and his doctors as he has emergency surgery this morning. Thank you, Debra," she captioned an Instagram post that saw Jim looking sick in a hospital bed.

Following that procedure, Debra shared a positive update with a photo of Jim lying in a hospital bed and giving the camera a thumbs up. "Out of surgery and back in his room. Everything went well. Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and good thoughts. You can keep them coming in," she wrote.
