The Jon Snow depicter predicts he will feel emotional watching the upcoming show 'House of the Dragon' because he still feels a huge connection to the saga.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington will have a "hard" time watching prequel series "House of the Dragon".

The actor became a household name playing Jon Snow in the HBO fantasy series and he still feels a huge "emotional connection" to the show, and its "world."

"House of the Dragon", which will focus on the Targaryen Civil War that took place about 300 years before the events of "Game of Thrones", debuts in January (22) and while Harington can't wait to catch pal Matt Smith in it, he insists it will make for rough viewing.

"Do you know what, probably quite a lot of emotions. I'm looking forward to it... I've got a friend Matt in it, so I'm looking forward to it, but it's gonna be hard. I've got a huge emotional connection to that piece, to that story, to that world," he told the hosts of U.K. radio show "Heart Breakfast".

Kit has admitted filming the violent fantasy series - and becoming world famous in the process, took a real toll, and he entered rehab in 2019 after the show ended.

"I went through some mental health difficulties after Thrones, and during the end of Thrones, to be honest. I think it was directly due to the nature of the show and what I had been doing for years," he said earlier this year.

The actor welcomed a son with wife and "Game of Thrones" co-star Rose Leslie in February (21) and recently admitted he has never been happier.

"I have a child and my relationship is brilliant... I'm a very, very happy, content, sober man," he shared.
