The 38-year-old Baton Rouge rapper, whose real name is Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., makes his compliment for the 'Look at Me Now' crooner when sitting down with VladTV.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown is so honored to be compared to Michael Jackson. After Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) drew the comparison between him and the late King of Pop, the "No Guidance" crooner let the rapper know that he does "appreciate" his pal for the compliment.

The R&B star expressed his gratitude via Instagram on Tuesday, October 19. Sharing a clip of Boosie's interview with VladTV, he wrote, "Appreciate the love MY BROTHER. I'm thankful I was able to witness MJs greatness and HE inspired me to be CHRIS BROWN."

In the interview, Boosie praised Chris for his contribution in the music industry. "You gotta compare Chris Brown," the emcee said. "I saw that n***a come down-boy, that's a bad motherf**ker. I saw that n***a come down on the screen."

"I didn't see Michael Jackson, but I saw C. Breezy and I saw, the same thing I saw on the s**t I be watching, if I see Michael Jackson, girls passing out," the Baton Rouge native added. "I seen 'em pass out. I seen 'em with my own eyes. I seen 'em with my own motherf**kin' eyes, they passin' out."

While Boosie managed to avoid backlash for the comparison, Fat Joe recently came under fire for likening DaBaby to late Tupac Shakur during his appearance on BET's "Rap City" special, "Rap City '21". The "All the Way Up" spitter, however, was quick to clarify why he's stick to his opinion.

"Who's the new Tupac? don't know... He was the realist rapper ever," the 51-year-old hip-hop star explained during an Instagram Live on October 13. "Now when I think of Pac... I'm thinking DaBaby a real one... whether you like it or don't like it."

"I believe he lives what he raps. And that's very much like Tupac," the Bronx rapper further emphasized. "But... Is he is Tupac Shakur? No! No one will ever be Tupac Shakur."
