Adele Plans to Busk in Subway If She Can't Tour

The singer who has just released her highly-anticipated comeback single 'Easy On Me' is determined to do performances for fans even though she may not be able to tour due to pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Adele will busk at a London Underground station if she can't tour.

The singer is making her musical return with new album 30 after more than four years out of the spotlight and, though she'd love to go on the road in support of the record, she doesn't have any "solid plans" because of coronavirus restrictions. But she's hopeful she'll be able to sing for fans in some way.

"We have a few options in the pipeline and we're just trying to work out what is most do-able," Adele, who released her comeback single "Easy On Me" on Friday (15Oct21), tells the BBC. And she wants to be sure she doesn't mess fans around again after previously cancelling the final two shows of her 2017 world tour, at London's Wembley Stadium, due to vocal cord troubles.

"Obviously I had to cancel my final two Wembley shows, which was f**king horrible...," she adds. "I was devastated and I don't want to be cancelling anything again. Not that that would be my choice, obviously, if it was COVID-related. But I'm just trying to work out what is most do-able for all of us to be happy and satisfied."

"But I'll be doing something or other. I think I'll be busking on the Tube."

While she is excited to hit the road again, she admitted she's wary of touring amid pandemic.

She told The Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East, "I'd love to do a big proper tour again. I wouldn't do it quite as long as I did it last time, it was something like 130 odd shows in less than 18 months but, I would love to do that."

"But all the Covid rules are so different everywhere, and sort of like the rates of infection, the rates of vaccine whatever, it's just, it makes me nervous trying to plan a world tour globally when it feels like no-one's really on the same page."

"The last thing I would ever want to do is cancel any shows again."
