Young Thug Promotes 'Punk' Album by Destroying Rolls-Royce With Gunna

Also joining the hip-hip stars in the violent celebration is rapper/record producer Metro Boomin, who smashes the luxury car's windows with a baseball bat.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug went above and beyond to promote his new album "Punk". During his album listening event in West Hollywood on Tuesday, October 12, the "Go Crazy" spitter destroyed a Rolls-Royce with his frequent collaborator, Gunna.

Sharing a clip of the violent celebration was Gunna on his Instagram account. In the video, Gunna and Thug could be seen smashing the luxury car's windows with baseball bats. While the 28-yer-old MC climbed on top of the car and slammed down on the windshield, the YSL Records founder wrecked the back part of the car, which read "Punk" in pink spray paint on all sides.

Joining the two hip-hop stars was rapper/record producer Metro Boomin, who also broke the Rolls-Royce with his own baseball bat. Feeling proud of the destruction, he shared some videos of it on Instagram and wrote, "Trashed a RR just cause [a man shrugging emoji] P*NK FRIDAY."

Thug is set to release "Punk" on Friday, October 15. He, however, previously offered a preview of four singles off the forthcoming album, including "Die Slow", "Droppin Jewels", "Tick Tock" and "Hate the Game", during his NPR Tink Desk (Home) Concert at the gardens of the Houdini Estate in Los Angeles.

Speaking about the album, the 30-year-old rapper told Rolling Stone in 2019, "This album 'Punk' that I'm going to put out soon is probably going to be the best album, because it really teaches you, gives you life situations, it's teaching I'm human. I am you. I am him. It's very verbal." He added, "I think it'll probably be the best album even though it's not out."

Just one day after releasing his new album, Thug will make his "Saturday Night Live" debut as the musical guest on October 16. In the episode, "No Time to Die" actor Rami Malek will serve as a host.
